STMS U - Site Traffic Management Supervisor Universal

This standard is designed for Traffic Management Operatives to provide the essential knowledge needed for the role of a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) and is intended for anyone aiming to serve as an onsite STMS in category A, B, or C road environments, including Traffic Operations Managers, Mentors, Assessors, Trainers, TMP Planners, TMP Reviewers, and TTM Auditors. After completing this unit, participants will be equipped to:

Demonstrate an understanding of the STMS role requirements | Explain the components of a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) | Describe the recording and reporting requirements for a worksite under temporary traffic management (TTM).

PREREQUISITES

Completion of the Traffic Management Operative qualification (US 31959 - TMO-NP) is required before enrolling in this course.

PRACTICAL COMPONENTS

This STMS course does not include practical assessments, as it serves as a foundational non-practicing qualification.

To become a practicing STMS on the road, participants must complete the appropriate STMS courses for their specific road environment.

DURATION OF COURSE

Two days theory.

Morning tea and lunch provided.
