TMO P - Traffic Management Operative Practising

This standard is intended for Traffic Management Operatives who need to maintain an existing static Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) worksite under the supervision of a Site Traffic Management Specialist (STMS) and is suitable for any worker aiming to manage a worksite in the absence of an STMS, set up a site with traffic management clear of the live lane, conduct roadside activities, or perform inspection tasks. After completing this unit, participants will be equipped to:

Maintain the worksite under TTM: install and remove a worksite with all TTM equipment safely out of the live lane and perform inspection activities.

Maintain the worksite under temporary traffic management.

PREREQUISITES

Completion of the Temporary Traffic Management Worker qualification (US 31958 - TTMW) is required before pursuing this qualification.

PRACTICAL COMPONENTS

To achieve this standard, participants must complete seven tasks.

The duration of the course varies based on the verification and assessment requirements, as well as the learner's pace in completing the tasks.
